- Kings of Leon to release "Radioactive" single
A video for "Radioactive," the first single from Kings of Leon [ tickets ]'s new album, "Come Around Sundown," will debut on kingsofleon.com and Vevo on Sept. 8, and will hit radio on Sept. 13.The album is due in stores on Oct. 19, but pre-orders via iTunes are set to begin Sept. 14. Fans who pre-order the album will receive "Radioactive" immediately as a free download. - Indigo Girls share "Brilliant Dream" on fall theater run
Indigo Girls [ tickets ] have plotted a fall course in support of their recently released double-disc live album, "Staring Down the Brilliant Dream," which surfaced earlier this summer. The folk duo of Amy Ray and Emily Saliers will begin the U.S. journey with a Sept. 24 show in Sautee-Nacoochee, GA, followed by theater stops and festival appearances spread along the East and West coasts. The pair will perform for a total of 21 concerts, wrapping up Nov. 6 in Blackburg, VA, after which Ray will take to the stage for a handful of solo gigs along the eastern seaboard. - Elton John, Leon Russell to roll out "The Union" in New York
A few weeks ago, it was looking as if Elton John and Leon Russell would play their first gig in support of their forthcoming album "The Union" in Los Angeles. Now it looks like New York will get the honor.The longtime friends and iconic pianists are now set to play an Oct. 19 show at New York's Beacon Theatre -- the same day the new album hits stores.
